Sunrise has recently secured a funding round of approximately RMB 1 billion, jointly contributed by several prominent investors. Focused on the research, development, and commercialization of high-performance GPUs and multimodal scenario inference chips, the company has already launched two mass-produced chips, Sunrise S1 and S2, with plans to introduce the S3 chip in 2026. Boasting a streamlined and efficient team comprising core members from esteemed enterprises like AMD, Baidu, Alibaba, and formerly SenseTime's large chip department, Sunrise aims to further reduce inference computing costs with its S3 product, thereby accelerating the growth of China's AGI industry.
