On July 18, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology unveiled statistics revealing that by the close of June, China's tally of 5G base stations had hit 4.55 million, while the count of 5G mobile phone users soared to 1.118 billion, marking a penetration rate exceeding 79%. Furthermore, the pilot deployment of 10-gigabit optical networks in the initial batch of 168 residential communities, factories, and parks has progressed smoothly, markedly bolstering network support capabilities.
