Huawei Network has officially announced a groundbreaking collaboration with Liaoning Mobile. Together, they have deployed the world's first 700MHz 8T8R compact 5G emergency base station in Dandong City. Test results have revealed that this base station offers a 4.5dB improvement in coverage over traditional 4T4R solutions, accompanied by a notable 24% increase in downlink edge rate and a remarkable 47% boost in uplink edge rate. The integrated 8T8R antenna design significantly reduces space requirements, facilitating minimalist deployment and swift activation in extreme scenarios such as power outages and network disruptions.
