The Dutch lithography behemoth ASML has cautioned that its growth targets for 2026 may remain elusive due to the ramifications of the United States' tariff policies. The company has stated that geopolitical uncertainties and heightened risks associated with trade restrictions have created a challenging market environment, rendering it currently unable to assure the attainment of its set growth objectives. Despite reporting second-quarter sales that surpassed expectations, ASML's CEO emphasized that amidst increasing macroeconomic and geopolitical risks, the company cannot confirm its ability to achieve growth by 2026.
