During a conference call, InnoLight disclosed that the escalating investments in AI data centers by key customers are driving an upsurge in demand for optical modules. The company anticipates that the demand for 800G modules will continue to climb in the second half of this year, with a parallel gradual increase in demand for 1.6T modules. Notably, shipments of 1.6T optical modules are expected to surge significantly in the latter half of the year, maintaining a consistent quarterly growth trajectory. Furthermore, it is predicted that an even greater number of customers will adopt 1.6T solutions in the coming year.
