In collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Commerce has revised the Catalogue of Technologies Prohibited and Restricted from Export by China. This initiative aims to safeguard national economic security and developmental interests, while fostering international economic and technological cooperation. The updates entail the delisting of three technologies, the addition of battery cathode material preparation technology to the restricted list, and amendments to the non-ferrous metal metallurgical technology section. Relevant enterprises are mandated to adhere to the new regulations and ensure compliance through technology export licensing or contract registration. The Ministry of Commerce pledges to enhance management efficiency, streamline procedures, offer compliance guidance, and continually refine the contents of the catalogue.
