In June, China's production of power batteries and other types of batteries amounted to 129.2GWh, marking a 4.6% increase from May and a 51.4% surge year-on-year. The monthly loading volume of power batteries stood at 58.2GWh, reflecting a 1.9% month-on-month growth and a 35.9% increase compared to the same period last year. Notably, lithium iron phosphate batteries accounted for 81% of the total, witnessing a 49.7% year-over-year increase. Cumulative data for the first half of the year revealed that the power battery loading volume reached 299.6GWh, up 47.3% from the previous year. Among these, the cumulative loading volume of lithium iron phosphate batteries showed a more pronounced growth, accounting for 73.0% of the total.
