Samsung Electronics' second-quarter financial report revealed a significant decline in operating profit, which plummeted 55.9% year-on-year to KRW 4.59 trillion. This represents a 31.2% decrease quarter-on-quarter. Revenue, meanwhile, experienced a marginal drop of 0.1% year-on-year, reaching KRW 74 trillion. The primary factors behind this performance decline were the downturn in the chip business sector and the impact of US tariff policies.
