Shandong Airlines has recently completed a comprehensive, self-reliant upgrade and replacement of all 16 self-service kiosks at Jinan Airport. These kiosks now feature a locally produced combination of FT processors, YH Kylin operating systems, and the independently innovated version of TravelSky KIOSK software. This significant upgrade marks the successful commercial debut of the independently innovated TravelSky KIOSK in the airline application market, following successful pilot projects at airports such as Daxing in Beijing and Boao in Sanya.

The replacement not only enhances the self-service check-in experience but also introduces innovative services for the first time, including self-service rescheduling, self-service itinerary printing, and cabin upgrades via scanning and payment. Notably, the entire process was completed in less than a month, showcasing Shandong Airlines' efficiency and commitment to innovation.

Within just two weeks of the system's launch, the response has been overwhelmingly positive. Nearly 40,000 self-service boarding passes and over 200 self-service itineraries were printed, and more than 100 passengers successfully completed cabin upgrades through scanning and payment. These figures underscore the popularity and convenience of the new self-service kiosks at Jinan Airport.
