China's telecommunications giants have rekindled their commitment to the eSIM business, primarily targeting the Internet of Things (IoT) and smart wearable markets. Leading the charge, China Unicom has reinitiated services in 25 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions, encompassing key areas such as Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei. Meanwhile, China Mobile and China Telecom are diligently upgrading and refining their respective systems to align with this revival. eSIM technology facilitates seamless updates via wireless remote downloads and integrates seamlessly into devices, minimizing space requirements.
