During the initial five months of this year, China has implemented a suite of tax and fee reduction measures, alongside tax rebates, totaling 636.1 billion yuan in support of scientific and technological innovation and manufacturing development. Specifically, high-tech enterprises benefited from tax reductions amounting to 140.7 billion yuan, while advanced manufacturing-related tax and fee reductions and rebates totaled 415.8 billion yuan. These policies have fueled significant growth: the high-tech industry's sales revenue surged by 14.2% year-on-year, the core industries of the digital economy expanded by 10%, and manufacturing enterprises' sales revenue increased by 4.2%. Notably, the growth rates for equipment manufacturing, digital product manufacturing, and high-tech manufacturing all surpassed 9%.
