BlackRock, the world's largest asset management firm, has potentially witnessed its Bitcoin Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) eclipse its renowned S&P 500 Index ETF in terms of profitability. According to data, the company's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (ticker: IBIT), which boasts an approximate asset size of $75 billion, has garnered significant interest from both institutional and retail investors. In the past 18 months, the fund has experienced net inflows all but one month, indicating robust demand. With a fee rate of 0.25%, the ETF generates approximately $187.2 million in annual fee income, edging out the annual revenue of its S&P 500 Index ETF counterpart.
