The company will now focus on refining processes of 2 nanometers and beyond, enhancing product reliability and yield rates, while intensifying efforts to optimize mature processes, including those at 4 nanometers, 5 nanometers, and 8 nanometers. Consequently, the previously anticipated 1.4-nanometer process, originally slated for 2027, has been postponed to 2029. This adjustment underscores Samsung's commitment to fostering more sustainable and long-term development.
