Intel and SK Hynix have joined forces in the creation of a next-generation AI accelerator, aiming to bolster the market competitiveness of AI chips. During the Intel AI Summit, SK Hynix's Vice President disclosed that the two companies are collaborating to integrate High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) into Intel's Gaudi AI accelerator. This partnership anticipates the provision of HBM4 technology for Intel's upcoming Jaguar Shores AI chip.
