Biwin Storage has recently been served with a summons and a civil complaint by the Nanjing Intermediate People's Court in Jiangsu Province, involving two cases of alleged patent infringement. The plaintiff, Yuan Yuzhi Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., accuses Biwin Storage of violating two of its invention patents. The plaintiff demands that Biwin Storage cease manufacturing and selling the infringing products, and seeks compensation of 1,216,850 yuan. In response, Biwin Storage maintains that it has consistently adhered to the FRAND (Fair, Reasonable, and Non-Discriminatory) principle in licensing negotiations and has actively engaged in discussions without apparent fault, asserting that the plaintiff's claims lack a solid legal foundation.

The announcement further notes that the patents in question are set to expire on November 27, 2026, and the company anticipates that the lawsuit will not significantly impact its supply capacity or operating results.
