On June 23, JinkoSolar announced a significant milestone: the conversion efficiency of its 182N-type high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon cells (TOPCon), independently developed by its wholly-owned subsidiary Zhejiang JinkoSolar, has been officially certified by the National Metrology and Test Center for Photovoltaic Industry at an impressive 27.02%. This achievement sets a new benchmark for the conversion efficiency of large-area N-type monocrystalline passivated contact cells. Furthermore, Zhejiang JinkoSolar's independently developed N-type TOPCon high-efficiency PV modules have undergone rigorous testing and certification by TÜV SÜD, achieving a maximum conversion efficiency of 25.58%, thereby establishing a new global record for similar modules.
