In late May, Leasun Technology, a domestic GPU manufacturer, proudly announced the successful power-on of its maiden self-developed GPU chip, the "G100," which boasts full independent intellectual property rights. Following over three years of rigorous research and development, the chip has met all expectations and is now poised to enter the detailed testing and tuning phase, with customer deliveries for testing anticipated in the near future. According to Leasun Technology, the G100 marks China's first foray into the 6nm GPU realm, leveraging a proprietary TureGPU architecture tailored for high-performance graphics rendering and AI acceleration. Remarkably, its performance is comparable to that of the RTX 4060 series, underscoring its advanced capabilities.
