A research team headed by Professor Sun Kening and Professor Bai Yu from the Beijing Key Laboratory of Chemical Power Sources and Green Catalysis at Beijing Institute of Technology has made substantial advancements in the exploration of electrolytes for high-voltage lithium metal batteries. Their groundbreaking findings have been featured in the prestigious international journal, Advanced Functional Materials. By ingeniously incorporating functional additives to modulate the electrode/electrolyte interface, the team has devised a hybrid strategy that incorporates a cyano group, dramatically enhancing the battery's cycle stability and rate performance.
