The Ministry of Commerce of China (MOFCOM) has announced that, in consideration of the legitimate civilian needs of various countries, it reviews applications for export licenses of rare earth-related items in strict adherence to relevant laws and regulations. The Ministry has already granted approvals to a number of compliant applications and vows to further strengthen its approval processes moving forward.
