Yangtze Memory Technologies (YMTC) has once again filed a lawsuit against Micron, accusing it of funding disparaging propaganda to secure a competitive edge, which has led to substantial economic losses for YMTC. In response, YMTC is demanding that Micron issue a corrective advertisement, offer financial compensation, and relinquish any illicit profits derived from its alleged actions. This marks the second legal skirmish between the two companies, following a patent dispute in 2023. In that earlier case, the court mandated that Micron submit 73 pages of confidential technical documents, with access to these documents being strictly controlled despite Micron's objections.
