Samsung has embarked on preparations for the mass production of the Exynos 2600 chip, with its foundry already initiating batch production of the chip prototype. This processor, leveraging a cutting-edge 2nm process node, signifies a pivotal milestone in the Exynos series. During the rigorous testing phase, the Exynos 2600 has achieved a yield rate of 30%, and both the wafer input volume and yield rate have exhibited notable improvements. To ensure the chip's quality and functionality, Samsung intends to conduct risk production trials by the end of this year. Should these trials proceed without any hitches, mass production will commence by the year's close, with the initial launch set for the Galaxy S26 series, anticipated to be released in February of next year. This groundbreaking development has the potential to usher in the industry's first 2nm chip.
