The latest iteration of the prestigious global Top500 supercomputer ranking has been released, showcasing AMD-backed El Capitan and Frontier systems firmly occupying the top two spots, both having achieved Exascale capabilities. The Intel-supported Aurora system takes the third position, followed by the NVIDIA-powered Jupiter Booster in fourth and Microsoft's Eagle supercomputer in fifth. Notably, AMD CPUs hold five of the top ten spots. In the broader context, Intel boasts 294 systems on the list, while AMD contributes 173. Geographically, the United States leads with 175 systems, China follows with 47 (owing to a lack of new submissions), and Germany ranks third with 41 systems.
