During the 2025 SNEC Conference, Zhu Gongshan, Chairman of GCL Group, emphasized that the photovoltaic industry is currently undergoing significant transformations. These changes include a shift in the industry's growth pattern from linear to spiral, a transition in market development from policy-driven to fully market-oriented, and an expansion of the industry's scope from solely grid-connected power to a diverse mix of on-grid and off-grid energy supplies. These transformations stem from the interplay of three key factors: technological advancements, the reconstruction of market mechanisms, and policy direction. Zhu Gongshan proposed a collaborative effort between government and industry to streamline photovoltaic capacity, integrating this capacity into national planning and exercising strict control over new additions. Additionally, he suggested the establishment of a national adjustment fund aimed at rehabilitating the industry's ecosystem.
