General Administration of Customs: Electromechanical Products Represent 60% of Exports in the First Five Months

During the first five months of the year, China's total exports of electromechanical products amounted to 6.4 trillion yuan, marking a 9.3% increase year-on-year and accounting for 60% of the overall export value. Notably, integrated circuit exports surged by 18.9%, while automobile exports grew by 6.6%. In contrast, over the same period, the total export value of labor-intensive products amounted to 1.66 trillion yuan, witnessing a slight decline of 1.5%. Despite this, textile exports experienced a 3.7% increase, and agricultural product exports rose by 4.7%.
