During an earnings call, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang commended China's DeepSeek and Alibaba's Tongyi Qianwen (Qwen) as the premier open-source AI models. Since their free availability, these models have garnered significant global attention, including in the US and Europe. Huang highlighted that in AI, the platform that successfully engages developers will ultimately shape the future of the field. Despite facing export restrictions on H20, NVIDIA's Blackwell chip is achieving a remarkable output of 72,000 GPUs per week, catering to the AI inference needs of companies like Microsoft.
Huang emphasized that China, being one of the largest AI markets in the world, holds undeniable importance. NVIDIA is proactively adapting to market dynamics, vigorously advancing AI infrastructure development, and remains optimistic about the growth potential of enterprise and industrial AI.
