During the first quarter of 2025, the NAND flash market was hit by inventory pressures and a decline in demand, leading to a 15% quarter-over-quarter (QoQ) decrease in the average selling price (ASP) and a 7% reduction in shipments. The combined revenue of the top five brand manufacturers totaled $12.02 billion, marking a 24% QoQ decline. Samsung and SK Group occupied the first and second positions, respectively. Micron surpassed Kioxia to take the third spot, while SK Group experienced the most significant revenue drop. Looking ahead, it is anticipated that with inventory improvements and price recovery in the second quarter, market revenue is expected to achieve a 10% QoQ growth.
