Intel's forthcoming desktop Core Nova Lake will incorporate the novel LGA1954 socket, necessitating a fresh motherboard but preserving compatibility with existing coolers. Notably, the dimensions of the LGA1954 socket remain at 45x37.5mm, identical to those of the LGA1700 used in the 12th, 13th, and 14th generations of Core processors, as well as the LGA1851 found in the 2nd generation Core Ultra. Consequently, users will not be required to replace their coolers.
