According to Nikkei Asia, Huawei is actively supporting a domestic semiconductor chemical enterprise in its endeavor to compete with the world's leading semiconductor chemical companies and establish a comprehensive local supply chain for semiconductors. Industry insiders reveal that Huawei's objective is to nurture Zhuhai Jishi Technology Co., Ltd., established in 2022, into an "end-to-end" supplier of chemical materials, capable of challenging international giants such as Shin-Etsu Chemical, JSR, Merck, Dupont, and Dow. Zhuhai Jishi Technology boasts R&D centers in Shenzhen, Zhuhai, and Shanghai, alongside a production base situated in the Zhuhai Jinshun Electronic Materials Industrial Park, where it focuses on the research, development, and production of high-end electronic chemical materials.
