The co-founder of the Spanish satellite IoT startup Sateliot has recently disclosed that the company is in advanced discussions with multiple European defense ministries, aiming to provide 5G connectivity services to their respective armies. Recently, Sateliot secured 70 million euros (approximately $79 million) through a combination of debt and equity financing, with the objective of delivering narrowband 5G connectivity to small devices in regions lacking mobile network coverage, leveraging satellite technology.
