The European Commission intends to establish a public-private partnership fund of at least €10 billion (approximately $11.3 billion) to bolster the expansion of technology enterprises and close the innovation gap with the United States and China. On Wednesday, the Commission unveiled the "Choose Europe: From Startup to Scaleup" strategy, which focuses on increasing the number of "unicorn companies" within the EU. The Commission highlighted that the key challenges startups face include fragmented regulations across member states, along with difficulties in securing financing, accessing markets, talent, and infrastructure.
