NVIDIA is set to unveil the RTX PRO 6000 (formerly known as B40), a tailored low-voltage GPU designed specifically for the Chinese market. This new offering features a memory downgrade from HBM to GDDR7, aiming for a more cost-effective solution. Scheduled for release in the second half of 2025, this strategic shift may be a response to the recent US export restrictions on high-performance chips to China. Expected to deliver performance that falls between the previous-generation L40S and the China-exclusive L20, the RTX PRO 6000 is anticipated to have a price range of $6,500 to $8,000, marking a substantial decrease from the original H20 model.
