On May 15, 2025, the MODS team from Huazhong University of Science and Technology unveiled groundbreaking research in the Journal of the American Chemical Society. The paper, titled "Synthesis of Stable SnI₂·xDMSO Adducts for Enhancing the Efficiency of Tin-Lead Perovskite Solar Cells," was authored by Master's student Zhu Zhenkai and Ph.D. student Ge Ciyu, under the mentorship of Associate Professor Chen Chao and Professor Tang Jiang as corresponding authors. The School of Optics and Electronic Information, along with the Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, were credited as the primary research institutions. The study aimed to significantly elevate the efficiency of tin-lead perovskite solar cells.
