Intel Israel has recently initiated legal action against former employee Natalia Avtsin and former vendor Yafim Tsibolevsky, alleging a conspiracy to embezzle more than 3 million New Shekels (approximately $842,000). According to reports, between October 2023 and November 2024, Avtsin allegedly misused her authority to reclassify transactions from "components" to "services," thereby bypassing essential verification procedures. In collusion with Tsibolevsky, they are accused of embezzling funds by issuing invoices close to the maximum limit of Avtsin's approval authority. Additionally, the duo is said to have orchestrated numerous fraudulent orders through a third-party agency. Intel is seeking the full recovery of all embezzled funds and associated profits.
