In afternoon trading, the Hang Seng TECH Index deepened its losses to 2%, while the broader Hang Seng Index retreated by 1.32%. Among individual stocks, BYD witnessed a steep decline of over 8%, followed by CATL, Li Auto, and Meituan, which each fell by more than 5%. Additionally, BYD Electronics and XPeng both saw losses exceeding 4%.
