Malaysia's Minister of Trade and Industry, Mohamed Azmin Ali, has announced that a suite of incentives will be rolled out in July with the objective of bolstering the domestic semiconductor industry. Last year, the nation's semiconductor sector contributed approximately $130 billion to electronic product exports, holding a significant 13% share of the global backend semiconductor packaging and testing market. These initiatives are poised to further solidify Malaysia's standing within the global semiconductor supply chain.
