Recently, Kulun Banner, Tongliao City, in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, has welcomed a significant investment with the establishment of a silicon carbide industrial park project valued at 5.5 billion yuan. Spanning an expansive area of 270 acres, the project is set to be implemented in three distinct phases, aiming to achieve full operational capacity within three years. This ambitious undertaking encompasses the construction of a plant capable of annually producing 150,000 tons of semiconductor-grade silicon carbide powder material, a carbon-carbon composite material processing facility spanning 500,000 square meters, and a processing plant for 300,000 sets of carbon-carbon composite brake discs.
