The domestic gas turbine power station situated on Weizhou Island, Guangxi, has commenced official operations. Equipped with "Taihang 15" and "Taihang 12" gas turbines, the station has successfully completed the 72-hour operational acceptance. As China's first domestic gas turbine power station operating in a marine environment, it is projected to generate an annual power capacity of 236 million kWh, significantly alleviating the electricity shortage on Weizhou Island. Utilizing natural gas from offshore oil and gas fields for power generation, the station is further enhanced by a big data health management platform and a comprehensive lifecycle management system, aimed at boosting operational efficiency and minimizing operation and maintenance costs. Furthermore, the "Taihang 25" gas turbine has achieved over 20,000 hours of safe and efficient operation per unit, amassing a cumulative power generation of more than 320 million kWh.
