Premier Energy Limited (PEL), a leading Indian manufacturer of renewable energy equipment, has announced a strategic partnership with Taiwan's CMIC to produce and market solar silicon wafers. According to PEL, the two companies will collaborate to establish manufacturing facilities, with PEL holding a majority 74% stake and CMIC retaining a 26% share, aimed at catering to the burgeoning global market demand. This move follows CMIC's earlier announcement of increased investment in semiconductor silicon wafers in the United States, signifying another significant step in its multinational expansion strategy.
