AMD has officially confirmed that its upcoming Zen 6 EPYC processor, codenamed "Venice," will leverage TSMC's cutting-edge 2nm process technology, with an anticipated launch date set for 2026. Dan McNamara, AMD's Senior Vice President, disclosed that the company is prioritizing the optimization of CPU energy efficiency and performance, while maintaining an open stance towards potential collaborations with Samsung. During the first quarter of this year, AMD reported revenues totaling $7.44 billion, marking a 57% year-over-year growth in its data center business segment.
