NVIDIA: No GPU Design Drawings to China, Adheres to U.S. Export Restrictions

NVIDIA has officially addressed rumors regarding the establishment of a research and development (R&D) center in Shanghai. According to foreign media outlets, NVIDIA was rumored to be setting up an R&D hub in the city with the intent of tailoring product designs specifically for the Chinese market. However, the company emphatically states that all product design and production activities will continue to be conducted outside of China, in full compliance with U.S. export controls.
NVIDIA unequivocally declares that it will not share any GPU design drawings with entities in China and will refrain from modifying product designs locally to avoid breaching export restrictions imposed by the United States.
