On May 14, Henan province witnessed the historic departure of its first cross-border e-commerce TIR international regular truck from Area A of the Zhengzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone Comprehensive Bonded Zone. This marked the successful launch of an innovative logistics chain combining "cross-border e-commerce 9610 mode" with "TIR international road transportation." The cargo aboard this TIR truck was processed under the cross-border e-commerce 9610 customs declaration procedure and, after clearance by Zhengzhou New Area Customs, embarked on its journey to Moscow, Russia. The entire trip is anticipated to span over 10 days. The TIR system, characterized by its streamlined process of one-time declaration and single-certificate clearance, significantly enhances trade efficiency and introduces a cost-effective and efficient logistics solution for cross-border e-commerce. This development not only facilitates the efficient export of "Made in China" products but also propels inland regions towards deeper integration into the "Belt and Road" Initiative.
