Researchers from Xi'an Jiaotong University have unveiled a groundbreaking innovation: the incorporation of Bi3+, Zn2+, and Nb5+ antiferroelectric inducers into the tricritical ferroelectric material (Ba,Sr)(Ti,Sn)O3. By meticulously controlling the sintering process to locally concentrate these inducers, they have created a self-assembled triple relaxor-antiferroelectric nanocomposite structure featuring nanoscale phase separation. This unique structure boasts high energy storage density, high energy storage efficiency, and robust temperature stability, offering a novel approach for the development of next-generation high-performance dielectric ceramics.
