Fudan University alumnus Zhu Yi has generously donated 30 million yuan to establish the "Fudan University Bailian Tianheng Distinguished Professor" program. This initiative is designed to support the university's efforts in building a strong teaching staff focused on innovative drug target discovery, as well as brain and brain-like intelligence research. Zhu Yi, who founded Bailian Tianheng Pharmaceutical Company, saw his company listed on the STAR Market in 2023, garnering significant attention due to a high-profile $8.4 billion deal. In 2024, the company's performance skyrocketed, with operating revenue reaching an impressive 5.823 billion yuan. Zhu Yi expresses his hope that this program will attract and nurture exceptional talents, encouraging them to dedicate their efforts to pioneering scientific research at Fudan University.
