LG Energy Solution and the French environmental services giant Derichebourg have collaborated to form a joint venture focused on battery recycling. The venture aims to commence construction of a plant in Bruyères-sur-Oise, located in northern France, in 2026, with production set to begin in 2027. The plant will have an annual processing capacity exceeding 20,000 tons. Both parties hold an equal 50% stake in this strategic partnership.
