Intel's upcoming server processor, previously codenamed "Diamond Rapids," has officially been named the Xeon 7 Series, as announced in a press release by AMI. Concurrently, AMI's latest BMC firmware solution, MegaRAC OneTree, will be seamlessly integrated with Aspeed's AST27x0 series modules, offering out-of-the-box functionality for systems powered by Xeon 7 processors. The Xeon 7 Series builds upon the robust performance of its predecessor, the Xeon 6 Series "Granite Rapids," and is poised to release multiple variants, including the "Diamond Rapids-AP" supporting 16-channel memory configurations, tailored to cater to a wide range of application demands.
