Fueled by the burgeoning demand for artificial intelligence (AI), SK Hynix is poised to surpass Samsung Electronics for the first time, emerging as the global frontrunner in the DRAM market. According to Counterpoint Research, SK Hynix commanded a 36% share of the DRAM market in the March quarter, edging out Samsung's 34%. Additionally, SK Hynix stands as a prominent supplier of high-bandwidth memory (HBM) to Nvidia.
