Toshiba has officially launched an upgraded version of its N300 and N300 Pro series of NAS-dedicated mechanical hard drives, boasting a massive 24TB capacity. This marks a 9% increase in storage capacity compared to the previous 22TB model. The new drives feature a 3.5-inch helium-sealed design, leveraging CMR (Conventional Magnetic Recording) technology, and spin at a swift 7200rpm. Additionally, the cache memory has been expanded to 1GiB, enhancing performance. Equipped with a built-in rotational vibration compensation sensor, these drives are engineered for round-the-clock reliability and operation.
