NVIDIA's latest driver version 576.02, designed to address stability and black screen concerns in Windows 11 24H2, has unfortunately introduced a new issue with temperature sensor readings. User reports indicate that RTX 50, 40, and 30 series GPUs consistently display a temperature of 25 degrees Celsius upon startup, and third-party tools such as Afterburner or Fancontrol are unable to adjust fan speeds appropriately. This issue persists even after attempting to resolve it using Windows shortcuts for shutdown; a full system restart is required to no avail. For the time being, users are recommended to revert to older driver versions to avoid this malfunction.
