AMEC has recently unveiled its 2024 annual financial report, disclosing that its esteemed founder, chairman, and CEO, Zhiyao Yin, has reinstated his Chinese citizenship while relinquishing his American nationality. Born in 1944, Mr. Yin boasts a Bachelor's degree from the University of Science and Technology of China and a Ph.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles. Having held US citizenship for an extended period, he recently opted to switch allegiances due to the restrictive "U.S. Person" provision in American export control regulations towards China. This decision enables him to continue his pivotal role at AMEC unhindered.
