The People's Bank of China has relentlessly pursued the integration of QR code payment systems between China and Cambodia, and the results have been impressive. During the first quarter of 2025, the volume of QR code transactions facilitated by UnionPay QuickPass and local UnionPay partner wallets in Cambodia witnessed a more than 100% year-on-year increase, with the transaction value soaring over 200%.
